The 2014 edition of Steaming Nostril took place on March 23rd 2014 beginning and ending in the town of Elmira, Ontario.
As a current resident of Elmira and a fellow cyclist I attended the race as a supporter and took the opportunity to take some photos of the competitors at various points around the course.
The 69km course (course map) consisted of 60% farm and dirt roads, 35% rail trail and 5% paved road and started and finished at the Waterloo Memorial Centre in Elmira. The competitors were faced with very cold weather, at the 11 a.m. start the temperature was a frigid -10ºC and felt even colder with the wind chill, it felt very cold taking photos so it must have been pretty severe on the bike!

Congratulations to all the riders who made it round the course and I look forward to the 2015 event with hopefully some warmer weather!
