Just over a year ago Martyn Ashton and Robin Kitchin released the amazing Road Bike Party which featured Martyn Ashton doing tricks on a Pinarello Dogma road bike that nobody would ever have dreamt possible. As of writing Road Bike Party has over 9 million views on YouTube.
Road Bike Party 2 has just been released online and this time features Chris Akrigg and Danny MacAskill in addition to Marty Ashton. Tragically Martyn Ashton was paralysed from the waist down as the result of an accident whilst performing as part of the Animal WD40 Action Sports Tour at Silverstone and was therefore unable to finish Road Bike Party 2 himself.
This time the guys are riding a Colnago C59 Italia, £15K worth of road bike, some of the tricks performed beggar belief, enjoy…

TED Talks – Paul Nicklen: Tales of ice-bound wonderlands

It was only fairly recently that I discovered the fantastic TED Talks website and the huge library of varied, interesting and often inspiring videos.
One that I particularly enjoyed was a talk by the photographer Paul Nicklen about his photographic work in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. He has been in the news recently after winning the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition for his incredible Bubble-jetting emperors photo.
The video highlights his stunning photographs but also demonstrates his passion for wildlife and the environment and his commitment to conservation.
